ImaginationLancaster academics visit the Cabinet Office

as part of their involvement in LU's Policy School.

Lancaster University's Policy School, in collaboration with the Cabinet Office, aims at engaging students with policy makers in government to present recommendations based on research carried out as part of the programme.

Dr Emmanuel Tsekleves and Prof Paul Rodgers along with another two academic leads engaged with students in ideating and presenting solutions to a specific policy challenge, during their visit on Friday the 2nd of November in the Cabinet Office.  The four groups made of a total of 20 students presented ideas for policies in the areas of inequality in relation to disability, health, ageing and education.

Policy School's brief was addressing Inequality and the student teams will, following this visit, be producing a concise briefing note or slide pack (similar in style to those circulated around Whitehall).
