Imagination at Design Research Society Conference 2018

Imagination delegation discuss key challenges facing contemporary design theory and praxis

The Design Research Society Conference 2018 (DRS) was held at the University of Limerick, Ireland from 25th-28th June. At the conference, Director of ImaginationLancaster and DRS President, Distinguished Professor Rachel Cooper delivered a powerful keynote speech on the value of design as a catalyst for change.

Imagination was delighted to send a 13 strong delegation of design academic and research staff to DRS to present 9 well-received papers across a range of conference tracks including Design Innovation and Management, Health & Wellbeing By Design, Designing Education, Designing Technology & Society and Philosophical Tools in Design Research.

Dr Malé Luján Escalante also delivered an exciting Ethics Through Design 'conversation' session.
